Whether I am designing one room or the entire interior, my goal is to always balance my clients functional needs with creating a space that is a unique reflection of their personality and lifestyle.
The Process
The Consultation:
The initial consultation, which typically lasts about 90 minutes, is a discovery process. We begin with the client detailing what they are looking for and why. The scope of the project, the functional needs, and the style preferences are determined.
The Proposal:
After the consultation, a design plan proposal is put together which details the clients wish-list, the services House of Araquette Studios will provide, and the cost of the plan. The proposal may take up to a week to prepare. Once the client accepts and signs off on the proposal, the project can begin.
What’s Included in the design plan:
Depending upon the specific client’s needs, it may include space plan, 3D renderings, paint color, lighting and furniture suggestions, along with any other needs requested by the client. The design plan may be presented in-person or virtually.
How do we make it happen:
The client is free to use a contractor of their own or to get an estimate of work from one of our preferred vendors. Finding the right contractor and getting on their schedule is key. This is done simultaneously with determining.
